I'm going to attempt a repair of some broken traces caused by my ham-fisted approach to getting a new EPROM into a CZP-socketed ECU. The car, when started, runs really rich, illuminates the CEL, shows no activity on the CONSULT port, and sends the AUX fan into overdrive. I'm lead to believe, through search, that this is caused either by 1) a bad EPROM, or 2) a damaged socket or board. The EPROM is good, I tried it in another socketed ECU. If the ECU's PCB is just double-sided (or the socket only connects on the outside), I think I can repair without too much reliability worry. If not, well... So, anybody know what kind of process Nissan used in '92 to print these bad boys?
